Description
This is a lovely holder made of copper foiled glass. It measures approximately 10 long, 3 1/2 high, & 3 wide. The sides are constructed of clear, watery textured glass (think ripples on the water), & the base is made of clear, corded glass (think raised wales). I've displayed it as a candle & plant holder; I've included two air plants in glass containers & one votive candle in a glass container. You can mix it up, or use it as something totally different. What about 3 votives, or plant a trio of herbs in each glass container? Great for a kitchen shelf, patio table, or dining table. Just don't use it for foodstuffs without the inner glass containers as the solder is a composite of lead & tin. Each of the three small glass containers has silicone bumpers so they won't slip in the oblong box, & I've also put those silicone dots on the bottom of the main piece for a no-scratch, no-slip base. There's some decorative solder in the top corners of the large box, look closely at the photos & you'll see 3 vertical dots at each corner. I've signed the work on the base.
