Lovely ceramic indoor or outdoor tea cup planter. Made from vintage Hornsea Heirloom teacup & saucer. Perfect for indoors small plants such as succulents & cacti. The tea cup has a drainage hole for plant health & the saucer protects your surfaces from water damage. The set was designed by John Clappison in 1966 & in production from 1967. Large size tea cups, perfect for use as a planter & would look stunning in any vintage home. It has the Hornsea stamp beneath. Cup planter height - 6.5 cm Rim diameter - 8 cm Saucer - Rim diameter - 15 cm Good vintage condition. All my planters has slight flaws (in this case there is a tiny chip to the rim of the cup) or I would feel too guilty to drill holes in them. Please look carefully at the pics. This planter is a stylist & practical object, perfect for any vintage home! PLEASE NOTE: the pot does NOT come with the plant (it would not survive royal mail!) The pot is probably NOT frost proof.
