Description

This birdhouse gourd is carved with a big toothy grin. I grew gourds in 2019 & let them dry all winter & spring. After it was dried & you can hear the seeds shaking inside, I carefully carved it with a Dremel tool. The surface was stained with alcohol ink to let the natural grain & imperfections show through. I used clear wax to seal & to give a subtle sheen. It measures about 12 with the stem. Each gourd will be slighty different. This would look great on your table for the fall season.
