It is rough but still pleasant to the touch. Zoom in to see how a very fine orange colored line has appeared where the glazed & unglazed surfaces meet. These subtle marks created by the intense heat always amaze me. This creamer set comes in a majestic, matte, white glaze. It will make the perfect housewarming or wedding gift.
