White & Gray Stoneware Bowl, Deep Pottery Salad Bowl, Ceramic Serving Bowl, Gray & White Pasta Bowl This deep & wide pottery Bowl is a perfect size for serving a large gathering of family & friends. You can fill it with rice, pasta or salads or any cooked vegetables. It is made from a gray speckled clay & glazed in a shiny white glaze. It will be greatly appreciated should you decide to gift it to your favorite couple on their wedding day. I glazed this bowl on the inside only so that the contrast I try to achieve in my work is not only in color but in texture as well. It certainly has a rustic, natural feel to it. There is a slight glaze drip on the inside of the bowl but of course it in no way affects the bowls beauty & functionality. You can see the drip in several images. The last image shows a matching deep but narrower bowl made from the same gray speckled clay & glazed with the same glossy white glaze. You can see it in more detail in the link below. This item is handmade by me on the potter's wheel. I can create another one by order in any shape or size & in any glaze that you may see on other items in my shop. This item is made from ceramic stoneware & is fired to a temperature of 1200 degrees celsius (2192 Fahrenheit). It is glazed with lead-free & food safe glazes & is ideal for use in the oven & microwave but not over an open flame. It is dishwasher safe. If the item is out of stock, I can make another one, but the new item may vary slightly in size. That's the beauty of handmade objects.
