Have an incredible start of your day with a delicious coffee from these unique cups. Thanks to the faceting, they feel very natural in your hand. Every cup is unique because of the production on the wheel. Subtle color differences due to the different place in the kiln. Ceramic cup / jug (unica), handmade on the wheel & decorated with self-designed glazes & natural oxides (tin, titanium & iron oxide). Can be used for cold & hot drinks. Microwave & dishwasher safe. Dimensions approx. 7(H) by 6,5(W) cm approx. 3(H) by 2,5(W) inch Contents approx. 140 ml (0,3 US pt) Process Thrown on the potter's wheel (about one pound of clay). Fired for the first time (biscuit firing). Then glazed with a self-developed transparent glossy glaze. Finally in about 14 hours fired to 1280 oC (2330 oF) let cool slowly (to promote color development). Artist DFB-keramiek (DFB-ceramics) is the trade mark of the hand-shaped figurative ceramics by Daniel F. Bende. He designs & manufactures independently artistic stoneware in the traditional way. He creates authentic sculptures that defies the norm of the present day, Not the tallest skyscraper or the smallest chip, but only the pure form of an honest piece shows the ingenuity & aesthetics of the human spirit.
