Ceramic stoneware vase with Australian flannel flower design. Made by me using a combination of slab building & wheel throwing techniques. This listing is for one vase. Images show the colour options. Size: 23cm tall x 11cm wide. This is the large size of the three sizes I make in this design. It is glazed in my glossy bright glazes developed by me & unique to DMPottery. Colour options: Deep Blue Teal Deep Green White-Buff The flannel flower pattern you can see under the glaze is a vintage design taken from an Australian Federation (c1915) pane of textured window glass. Typical of the era, the Australian native flannel flower has been depicted in flowing lines. I reproduce this precious heritage pattern in a range of my work. This vase is fired to stoneware temperature & is non-porous, chip resistant, & of course, water-tight.
