DOG Breed Pottery Mug This mug was made from a flat slab of clay. I used a small rolling pin to get the design impressed on the clay. Cut & shaped into a mug. Then a cobalt glaze. DOG Breeds vary on the mug. There is at least 3-4 dogs. Ranges from Bull dog, Dachshund, Pomeranian, Labrador, Dalmation, Terrier. Microwave safe Food Safe Dishwasher Safe Please read Note below. Sizes are approximate. Prices vary on size, materials used, difficulty of glaze technique. I don't have a set price for each mug for this reason. But I do try to keep my pottery reasonably priced. Each piece of my pottery is unique & one of a kind. Meaning that even though they might look similar then glaze always does something different on each piece making it look different. Sometimes just a different spot in the kiln setting next to a different glaze will make a piece look different. All my pieces are fired to Cone 6 @2245 degrees so they are fully vitrified & become stoneware. I only use a stoneware clay. Avoid thermal shock which can cause breakage. Do NOT freeze. As with most pottery you can place in oven. BUT it needs to be a cold oven & gradually warm up. Otherwise it could possibly break.
