This tall, round ceramic vase features Hakeme, a traditional white slip decoration brushed onto black clay with a hake brush. It was hand-thrown, hand-brushed, & fired at 1230C. Inspired by the rugged landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales, it was handcrafted in Harrogate, combining my Japanese heritage with the organic textures of the countryside. Each vase is handmade, with subtle variations & marks that make it truly one of a kind.
