Presented is a wonderful quality sterling silver serving spoon by S. Kirk & Son Co. from the early 1900s, in their popular Repousse pattern. As the name would suggest, the handle is beautifully done in repousse work of flowers & leaves, all the way down to the bowl. The bowl of the spoon is an elongated egg shape. The construction of the piece is very sturdy, in quite heavy silver. This piece is clean & completely useable today, for any general serving purpose. This is a very well made & high quality piece of American silver work, & would be an asset to any table or collection. The spoon is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, & no repairs. The reverse of the stem is stamped with the S. Kirk & Son Co. hallmark, sterling & 925/1000.
