Presented is a lovely American sterling silver bowl. This piece dates to circa 1890-1910, & was made by Meriden Brittania Co. The bowl is beautifully hand chased with scrolls & floral designs around the rim. The bowl is in great condition. The details of the chased designs are quite crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, & no repairs. The bowl is hallmarked on the underside with the maker's mark for Meriden Britannia Co, a division of International, as well as 'sterling'. The bowl weighs 304 grams or 10.7 regular ounces.
