Description
Presented is a marvelous, sterling silver serving dish made by Wallace during the late 1800s. This late 19th century piece is done in a fabulous lobed form, with raised orb designs along the top of the rim. The side of the undulating rim is decorated with pretty, raised flower bunches & leaves. This is a wonderful looking piece with a great form. The underside is marked with the Wallace hallmark, sterling, 10 inches & a serial number. This piece is in excellent overall condition & the designs are very crisp. Three of the raised orb designs along the edge have tiny dings to them, this is hardly noticeable. There are a few very slight dents to the bottom of the piece. There are no splits, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals & no repairs. The dish measures 10 inches in diameter, is 2 inches tall & weighs 493 grams or 17.4 ounces.
