- Presented is a pair of great coin silver serving spoons from Steven Emery. This pair displays a rope style boarder & a shell decoration on the back of the bowls. This pair was made in the 1760s. They are certainly colonial, pre - Revolutionary War. The pair is monogrammed on the front with RB in a flowing script. The reverse of each spoon is marked S. Emery for Stephen Emery, who was a Massachusetts maker between circa 1752 -1800. This pair is in great condition. The spoons have not been buffed. There is minimal surface wear. The mark is clear & easily readable. There are no breaks & no repairs.
