Presented is a decorative German silver server made around the turn of the 20th century. This piece is very much in a classical Dutch silver motif. The openwork base of the server has a raised genre scene at the top. The twisted rope handle has a large man & woman design at the tip. The back is marked 800 for the silver purity & has the German crescent moon & crown symbols. This piece is in fabulous condition. The designs are crisp & there are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals & no repairs. The server measures 10 inches long & weighs 90.2 grams or 3.2 ounces.
