This Pierrot clown creamer is a terrific example of a figural table piece from the 1930's. The creamer depicts a Pierrot with a mandolin in a bright orange & green Deco pitcher was produced in 1930 by The Schafer & Vater Company. Schafer & Vater became famous in the market place depicting humorous novelty table ware. It is marked as made in Germany. Many Schafer & Vater pieces are unmarked, thus, this one is unique. The piece is in excellent condition. The paint & features are still bright, & there are no chips or scratches. This would be a fine piece to add to a collection.
