Vintage 50s Hard Plastic or Celluloid Red Santa Ornament, hand painted with an amazing degree or detail. The piece itself is unusual, in that there's a little friend, perhaps an elf or a dog? peeking out of Santa's gift bag. Very old world St. Nicholas looking, says Made in China, but I would say it looks like a fine German wooden ornament, in its artisanship! Measures about 4.5.
