At first glance this lampshade looks like it has a regular illustration of some beautiful meadow flowers. But if you look a little closer you will see that the inhabitants of this fictional meadow are quite fantastical creatures! Crested ostriches, fantasy birds, rabbits on bicycles, owls with antlers, parrots with butterfly wings - these are just some of the creatures that you will find within this collection. This lampshade is part of our Wildflower Collection which comes in a choice of two colourways; 'Bloom' which is a bright multicolored version, & 'Blush' which is dominated by tones of pink, lilac & purple. This listing is for the 'Bloom' lampshade & you can find the 'Blush' version in the lampshade section of this shop This design was created by UK artist Kelly Stevens-McLaughlan. Kelly is known for her unusual & whimsical animal art & designs. She works with galleries & some of the leading interior designers worldwide, & has a loyal base of fans who collect her work. This Wildflower lampshade will add a stylish splash of color to any room, but also will be a conversation piece once people notice that its not actually quite what it first seems. It is available in various sizes, & the illustrations have been created specifically to fit the sizes available, & so some of the creatures don't appear in all sizes. It really is a very unusual way to display a beautiful piece of art. Edges are meticulously hand rolled, & each illustration is designed to specifically fit your selected size of shade. UK/Euro & US spider fittings are available & you can specify which you want when you order - the options are as follows: UK/Euro for lamp base UK/Euro for pendant light US - Spider fitting only, for a lamp with a harp & finial fitting. MANUFACTURING TIME - Because each lampshade is handmade to order this means that they can take up to 3 weeks before we can dispatch them. We cannot expedite this manufacturing period. OPTIONS - You can select your size at purchase along with the fitting that you need.
