This one of a kind ceramic mug has a beautiful matte finish in a seafoam green (almost a celadon green to me) with a incised & patient large peace symbol on one side. It is a nice heavy mug with a thumb rest & artist signature on the bottom Chaucy, which I believe is the work of Chaucy Schader of Colorado. Chaucy still creates gorgeous art pottery today & has been creating wonderful pieces since the late 1980s. She has an Etsy store & a website & her pieces are safe & lovely to use & enjoy as well as to display. She also sells her wares at Renaissance Festivals as well. From what I can find, this wonderful peace sign mug is no longer being produced; however, her Etsy shop has some really pretty fall pieces she is currently making in wildflower & nature motifs that are truly stunning. Measuring approximately 4 1/8 inches high & about 5 1/2 inches wide from one end to the end of the handle, this is beautifully designed drinking mug with a lovely hand thrown/hand built form & a separately applied handle. in good preowned vintage condition, it's free from damage or repair. There are a couple of little utensil marks or shelf ware on the sides from age & use, though nothing detracting or problematic. Please make sure to view all the photos & zoom in for details.
