Small Seated Sandstone monk tealight candle holder - Real Gold Leaf Finish, 12cm high. Made from reconstituted sandstone - minor imperfections may be present due to the manual nature of the manufacturing process. These little monks have a very generous coating of real gold leaf on their robes & alms bowls. Very attractive effect when lit. This gold leaf version features his hands in sawadee greeting above the alms bowl. All our Buddhas & Buddhist statues are legally imported under license issued by the Department of Fine Arts in the Ministry of Culture in Thailand, for the protection of Thailand's cultural heritage. The easily removable label seen in the photograph verifies this - please note that not every single tea light holder will carry the label as sometimes the Department of Fine Arts does not label every single item we submit for licensing.
