Description
A handcrafted, kiln-fired nightlight with an illustration of octopus tentacles on a neo-lavender background. Neo-lavendar glass appears more pink in incandescent light & more blue in fluorescent light. The fifth photo shows an example of how this neo-lavender glass appears more blue hue under fluorescent light. The iron oxide image is baked into the glass in an initial firing. The image is then coated with fine glass powder for a second firing which brings out the detail of the image. Each night light is one of a kind. Each nightlight is affixed onto a nightlight. You can choose from either a light-sensitive base which turns on automatically in the dark or a base with an on/off switch. The bulb is included, of course! It is intended for use with any standard vertical outlet (120v). The glass face measures 2.5W x 3.25H. The nightlight is carefully (and lovingly!) packaged in a gift box with red & orange (like flames!) shredded, crinkle paper.
