Description
A handcrafted, kiln-fired nightlight of various colored sea urchin shells on a white background. The sea urchins shells are made using iron oxide images which are baked into the glass in an initial firing. The shells are then cut & ground into shape, & then coated with fine glass powder for a second firing which brings out the detail of the images. For the final firing, the sea urchin shells are arranged on the white glass & placed in the kiln for a final firing. Each night light is one of a kind. Each nightlight is affixed onto a nightlight. You can choose from either a light-sensitive base which turns on automatically in the dark or a base with an on/off switch. The bulb is included, of course! It is intended for use with any standard vertical outlet (120v). I now have swivel night light bases if your outlets are horizontal. Please let me know when purchasing the nightlight. The glass face measures 3H x 3W. The nightlight is carefully (and lovingly!) packaged in a gift box with red & orange (like flames!) shredded, crinkle paper.
