A Quality Victorian Oak Two Drawer Side Table raised on Octagonal Supports A real quality Victorian solid oak two drawer side table, raised on carved & turned octagonal supports, & with shield motif to the back rest. The side table is made from solid oak, which has a good colour & grain patination. The table is formed with it being set with two drawers, which have carved bead decoration around the edge of them. The handles on the drawers are lacquered brass & seem to have a puginistic feel to them. The top of the table has a bevelled edge & angled corners. The back rest of the table is shaped & has the bead carving around the edge. in the centre of the back it has a shield motif. The table is raised on carved & turned supports. The legs have an octagonal tapering legs with carved square sections to the top. The table is real quality & would date to around 1880. Size Height 43.75" Width 48.25" Depth 19.5" Condition The condition of the table is excellent, with light scuffs & marks but overall ready to be used for years to come.
