La Loggietta de Sansovino is a text illustration from La Guirlande Album Mensuel d'Art et Literature. La Guirlande was created under the artistic direction of Umberto Brunelleschi (1879-1949) in 1921 & is one of the rarest of the Art Deco magazines with only 800 copies. There are both plates & text illustrations with beautiful vibrant colour & design. Brunelleschi was the editor & also contributed contributing many of the illustrations along with Georges Barbier, Domergue, Cadogan, Bonnette, Blanche, A. Rome, Cito, Tacquoy, Wegener & others. Jean Saude was responsible for the vibrant pochoir coloring. Brunelleschi contributed illustrations to numerous publications including Gazette du Bon Ton & Le Rire. He worked in both illustration & stage design in Paris & completed illustrations for notable authors such as Hans Christian Anderson This is an original print of collectible value. It is not a reproduction or Giclee print copy. The print is available in a custom 10 x 8 inch double mat ($20.00 value) with removable archival tape at no additional cost. There is also an optional gold trim hardwood frame. Ready for wall hanging. The art deco prints are highly collectible & with mats & frames used in wall decoration in many homes.
