For sale. An elegant antique French hallmarked solid 950 silver mint julep or wine cup, tumbler or timbale with ornate medallion featuring bow & ribbon top. OUTSTANDING QUALITY. Garland & laurel accents to one side!Monogrammed RP or PR to the other side. Beautiful banding to top. Timbale is the French term for the stemless metal goblet or tumbler used for wine, (in our case, solid french silver). The tumbler weighs 83 grams. The silversmith mark is for Louis Ravinet & Charles Denfert, Paris circa 1891-1912.
