Antique French Pitcher or Creamer with spout, made by a premier French Pottery, Sarreguemines, as shown on the bottom. Earthenware. Ironstone with transfer ware design. Underglaze Transferware design showing Woman in clogs cooking over an open fire on one side. The other side might be WW1 nurses in uniform. Images appear to be scenes from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. Victorian or before. Collectible. Clear design & markings. Very rustic. A few chips & discoloration add to the age & charm of this old French household object. This pitcher has held many, many types cream, milk, batter & other foodstuffs in its day.
