The table is finished with a layer of resin (as in the main image) this creates a glass like surface on the top of your table & is very hardwearing. However if you prefer bare wood & resin, please message us, there is an extra charge for this finish, as it involves considerable work. Whilst each table will be very similar in style & look to these tables, none will be the same. This offers a truly bespoke one of a kind table, & with your own personal colour choice, makes every table a customised order. As each table is a custom order you can choose your own colour resin. Please contact us with your ideas, & for help deciding. We have a huge range of colours you can choose from. The kiln dried oak is a very chunky 4cm thick, on average. We make certain all the oak has a natural live edge, to create a beautiful, natural & individual look. Oak is a natural product. There will be knots, splits & openings in your wood. This is beyond our control. Where nesassary we will fill these with wood filler or resin to make them level & smooth. However we tend to leave most of these features as is, this is the beauty of wood after all. These tables are extremely heavy & assistance WILL be needed during delivery. Please make us aware if there are stairs to your home. We will need your contact number to arrange the delivery. We will contact you nearer the delivery with a day we will deliver, please confirm if you are available. Whilst the wood will be very similar to the picture, no two tables will be exactly the same. We cannot predict the final look of the resin, whilst we will mix & pour the resin in the same way, the drying process is unpredictable. This in-turn creates the truly unique wave pattern that makes theses pieces true one offs. There may be small marks, blemishes & bubbles in your final piece, whilst we do our best to minimise these, we cannot eliminate everything from your table, this is a handmade product & we cannot offer a factory finish.
