Lovingly hand made from birch plywood & protected with a natural white tinted oil finish, this narrow shelf is the perfect solution for small spaces & small items. Whether for your keys in the hallway, or the toothbrush in the bathroom, it can provide an understated, stylish home for them. Both natural & modern, plywood is a strong & rigid material due to its layered construction. This stability permits the use of a thin 12mm material, creating an elegant low profile which will fit well into a great variety of settings. As plywood is a natural product, each shelf is unique. There will be some variation in colour & pattern from one to the next. Each item is made fully by myself ensuring the utmost care & attention to detail has been given to each item. The finish applied to this shelf is called Rubio Monocoat Nordic White, which is a natural oil derived from linseed, environmentally friendly, with 0% VOC content. It provides a durable & easy to maintain finish whilst keeping the natural look & feel of the wood. The white tint in the oil gives the closest finish to the paleness of the untreated wood.
