The Hillebrand lamp, Mod. A7200, designed by Ernst Igl in 1959 for Egon Hillebrand's Leuchtenfabrik Neheim-Hsten, marked a shift in the company's history. Founded in 1881 by Egon Hillebrand, it initially produced household items & kerosene lamps. Later, with the involvement of Franz & Egon Jr., they transitioned to electrical lighting. in the 1950s, their collaboration with Ernst Igl & the use of innovative materials like perforated sheet metal revitalized their lighting range.
