Hand-knotted in the 1980s, the rug is in mint condition & has an incredibly thick, soft & supple pile that is heavenly underfoot. Made with fine quality wool & only natural & vegetable dyes, this is a beautiful high quality oriental area rug. The bright strawberry red backdrop hosts a finely detailed floral & vine pattern & a stunning medallion in azure blue, midnight blue, lime green, sapphire, ballet slipper pink & other beautiful colors, all echoed in the brilliant borders & made from only vegetable & other natural dyes.
