I drew this picture during the Winter of 2021 when all the pubs were closed as part of a long lockdown. Although I am not a big drinker there was something about not being able to go to the pub which really made me want to go! I really enjoyed photographing all the pubs on one of my walks & then arranging & drawing all the interesting old buildings. I think there were nearly 100 windows in this picture! I drew this detailed image in pencil before inking with a glass dip-pen & permanent drawing ink. The print measures 12 x 12 inches & will be sent unframed in a postal tube.
