They were made on the potter's wheel, glazed with a matt turquoise glaze, & fired to 1070 c. They have a very unique flower pattern on top...I love them very much. They can be a very artistic addition to your dinner table or to light up your room, slightly, when you are in a romantic mood Or on any occasion, you feel that a candle can be appropriate.
