This set of 2 fused glass coaster is inspired by my love of the natural aquatic world. with japanese art The unique design formed to the surface was inspired by fishscale, a japanese pattern. The top side of the tile coaster is smooth. This coaster can be used for cups, warm or cold on any surface, a dining tale, a coffee table, a side table or a kitchen worktop, it will stay in place thanks to the 4 bumbers on the underside of each coaster. This set of 2 coasters can be gifted & sent directly to the recipient, it is the perfect little handmade unique gift for a friend or family. It can be used as a tile or as a coaster in any decor, or any table, desk or worktop, you can choose to have a white ribbon around. CHOOSE YOUR COLOUR: blue, dark blue, turquoise, green, cherry, red, purple & amber DIMENSIONS: 10cm | 4 After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012 with handmade fused glass. Matthew designs & makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are handcarved, he applies the colours manually & the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C & annealed to ensure strength & durability.
