This glass frame is a textured sea scenery using low relief & colours to accentuate the motion of waves & create a dramatic effect. Some parts of the panel are slightly translucent & sandblasted to let the light through when backlit. You can also see the whitewash coming onto the beach, the seagulls in the sky, the colours of the sea are blue & turquoise. DIMENSIONS: Frame 25x25cm 10x10 | Glass Art 12x12cm 5 The front of the panel is smooth & the back is textured. After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs & makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are hand-carved, he applies the colours manually & the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C & annealed to ensure strength & durability. CONTAINS: 1 Wave in a Box Design 2 FW212 (25x25cm 10x 10 | Glass Art 12x12cm 5). The frame is ready to hang on the wall with a wire across the back, it is a good quality wooden frame in white with a grainy effect.
