Vintage Thonet-Style Bentwood & Wicker Top Side Table - Oak Bentwood Mid Century Table with Wicker Top - Thonet-Style - Excellent Condition Fabulous in every way, this modern Thonet-Style oak bentwood side table is just so modern & cool! Each side is comprised of a round bent oak spindle gently heated, steamed & curved to perfection. These circles of wood create the most interesting modern shape ever. The top of this table is woven wicker that is in perfect condition. Use this in any modern, eclectic, or bohemian decor the oak is in great condition as well & the style is clean & would go easily from bedroom, bath to hold towels, or your living areas or office to hold your morning coffee. It's just retro cool. I believe this piece was made in the late 1960s or 1970s. Thonet is a highly prized name in furniture from this era & their signature pieces feature these bent wood frames.
