The texture is made through many fine close scores in the metal's surface which gives the brass an almost fuzzy texture when looked at from a distance. This finish is enhanced by the super shiny silver chrome finish. The knurled texture has a functional use as well as being beautiful. The texture enhances grip & makes these handles easy & practical to use. They are suitable for most furniture including high use kitchen or bathroom cabinets.
