Fantastic, rare splash proof Fire King mixing/serving bowl. From the great designs of Georges Briard, award winning designer of glassware & dishware. His designs were famously sold over the years at Bonwit Teller & Neiman Marcus, as well as many others. He was noted for his gold, gold trim or gold speckled creations, among many. This is the type of bowl that was called Splash Proof, due to it's unique, yet simple shape. It measures 8 1/2 diameter & is 5 1/2 tall & is in excellent condition, with no nicks, pits, scars, straw marks or demarcations. These were originally made between the 1940's & 1970's as Fire King & later by Anchor Hocking for Fire King. Standard shipping rates apply, usual turn around time is 2-5 days.
