An elegant vase, inspired by the Art Deco movement of the early 20th century, & originating from post-war Bohemia, Czechoslovakia. The geometric polygonal shape of the vase widens at the top, & is blown in a smoked green colour - very similar to the work of Kolomon Moser. What sets this vase apart is the fact it originated under Communist rule - it bears the label Bohemia Glass (see photos), as the Communist regime dictated that there should be no individual expression or ownership, only a collective one.
