A rare & beautiful 150 year old Victorian Antique Mahogany fall front Bureau. Made in England during the reign of Queen Victoria around 1870 to a lovely standard. The beautiful fall front cover with brass escutcheon lifts to reveal a fitted interior with an arrangement of miniature drawers, pigeon holes & writing surface. Four long drawers fitted with wonderfully ornate brass handles & escutcheons. All raised upon bracket feet. Made to wonderful proportions it will stand proud in any room. The mahogany has a lovely colour & pleasing patina created over the last 150 years. A wonderful piece of English history that's overflowing with historic charm.
