Elegant vintage umbrella with very fine quality canopy & turned bamboo handle. A really good quality parasol or umbrella with an unusual handle in bent bamboo. Ideal for complimenting an Edwardian period costume. Frame has makers marks- Paragon, Fox & Son, Trixie, Made in England. Mechanism is in good working condition. Original wrist strap of knotted black cord with a long tassel. Umbrella canopy is of good quality (silk?) material in graduated shades of grey & double band of red detail. Small hole in one spot - check photograph. The end of the umbrella has a wood spike with metal tip. Ideal for a Mary Poppins costume, Gothic or Steampunk wedding outfit or theatre stage prop.
