Vintage baby's bowl from the time when we baby's were cared for in the nursery by a nanny. The design is of the time - an image of an old woman dressed in a long skirt & shawl, feeds her chickens & chicks. There are images of Felix the Cat surrounding the edge of the bowl. Made in glazed ceramic with high raised edge, designed to be stable & for a toddler who is learning to feed themselves. This bowl is in good condition with crazed glaze & a couple of small losses at the edge which is reflected in the price. A present from Margate in gold lettering featured under the picture of the old woman. Nursery rhyme - there was an old woman who lived under a hill. The bowl has original vintage makers mark on the base, No 86. The bowl measures 18cm in diameter & is 4cm high.
