Beautiful tea light or votive candle holders. Made with a lovely creamy colour stoneware clay. Birds are slab rolled & the little cup where the candle sits in is wheel thrown. The two are then put together with lots of slip & patience. The bird detail is then added with underglaze. Once each candle is double checked they are bisque fired & then glaze fired. The design is inspired by Scandinavian folk art & the love of candles. The shapes from the birds are beautiful & atmospheric when a candle is lit. Would look lovely on wedding tables, or the Christmas dinner table. There are only five of these available at the moment.
