Beautiful candle holder with two illustrated birds going around the base of the candle holder with a yellow circle between each bird. Made using a paper resist method & then hand painting in the details on each bird. A lovely white tin glaze has been used in the background which compliments the two yellow circles & blue speckles very nicely. The candle holder holds a dinner candle which will need a little candle wax dripped in the inside to hold the candle in place. The holder is slightly thrown out at the top to allow candle wax to drip down into the sides instead of dripping over. Sent in lots of biodegradable & recyclable packaging with a Royal Mail tracked service. Each piece is handmade from raw stoneware clay which is bisque fired & then high fired to 1270 degrees, covered in a clear glaze which makes the candle holders fit for purpose.
