Bespoke solid wood stairgate / baby gate / pet gate / garden gate Also available in oak - Please contact us directly for a price if you would like the gate made with European oak. Our gates are hand made to order from solid redwood & can be fitted on stairs, internal doorways, archways etc. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products & we ensure that every order is finished to the highest standard. The gates enable clear traffic when open, without having the trip hazard of a floor bar that is needed for universal metal safety gates. All gates are supplied with hanging post & closing post if needed. Closing posts include a stop to prevent the gate from opening in the wrong direction & straining the hinges. Hinges & gate latch are also included. Fixings for attaching posts are also supplied. Gates can be ordered with or without a finish. If ordered bare, the gate & posts are sanded & ready for applying a finish. Alternatively gates can be ordered primed or finished with hardwearing white satinwood paint or an oak stain. We use a HVLP spray system to paint our gates which give a professional finish. Alternative colours can be requested if desired via the personalisation box (May require an additional charge) Prices shown are for gates up to 800mm in height & to fit openings up to 900mm wide. Please select the required height & finish required when placing your order. If you require a gate higher than 800mm or for an opening greater than 900mm in width please message us for a quote. Once you have placed an order we send you the link to an electronic details form where you can give us all the information needed to make sure the gate fits your exact needs. When measuring the opening please check if both sides of the opening are parallel. If there is a large deviation in how parallel the 2 side of the opening are please let us know when completing the electronic details form. The height of a standard gate is 750mm (as seen in the pictures). If purchased bare & treated with the correct finish our gates could also be used outside such as a garden gate Please note that our gates are extremely well made & sturdy but are not designed to meet BS standards such as BS EN1930.
