MAGNIFICENT ANTIQUE 3 BRANCH CANDELABRA An impressive 19th century European candle-holder - possibly Austrian. Generously proportioned & beautifully made. Lavishly cast with a tiered flowing scallop design & opulent detailing to all sides. This would provide a stand-out feature in any room & works wonderfully well on special or significant occasions when an imposing centrepiece is called for. It's shown in the photographs with different backgrounds & alternative coloured candles to illustrate its versatility. Dress it up or dress it down to suit your mood & interior style. Eye-catching & dramatic, this is guaranteed to create an impact. It is believed to date from the mid - late 1800's & the stamp on the underside of the trim states 'Alpacca' a type of silver-plated white metal. Further down under the base is a later addition of composite resin possibly designed to add weight for extra stability. All in all an extraordinary candle-holder which would grace any home.
