The Women's Land Army Mug has a second world war motivation poster printed directly on to it. During the war, the majority of fit males in Britain were in one of the armed forces defending the country. This meant there was a shortage of labor to work on the land at a time when food was in short supply.The Governments answer was to form the Land Army & encourage Women to join & work on the land. The mug is a standard size, around 1/2 pint, 3.8 tall. Dishwasher safe. We aim to ship all items within 12/24 hrs. Shipping is signed for & insured.
