A stunning, extra large French vintage sideboard in Louis XV style refinished in a lovely cream with a limed oak top. It features two cupboards either side of the centre, opening up to house an internal shelf each, with five drawers in the centre that open smoothly. The piece has been sourced & shipped over from France & has been extensively refinished using professional grade products to achieve this look. It has been painted in Farrow & Ball’s elephant breathe & varnished with a matte varnish for protection. The top of the piece has been treated with a white liming wax to give it a lovely soft look. The cupboard doors lock with the keys provided & the original handles & hardware have been cleaned & polished. The piece is in excellent condition inside & out. There are holes on the top of the piece where an old up-stand used to sit but these are not noticeable when in place. Measurements 280 cm W 57 cm D 95 cm H Delivery Delivery usually takes around 1-2 weeks after purchase while the couriers arrange their routes. Any delays we will try to let you know ASAP. Price is for a one man team - please let me know if you require two men as this is slightly more expensive. You will get a delivery date a few days after purchase & a more precise time slot 1-3 days prior to delivery & a courtesy call/text when the driver is on route. I source independent couriers therefore I cannot be held responsible in the rare instance of any cancelled deliveries/delays in delivery. You are welcome to hire your own courier to collect the item yourself. All items are bubble wrapped by myself prior to collection & strapped well into the vans during transport. Aftercare Each piece sent out gets thoroughly cleaned + oiled using professional products & equipment. We make our pieces as durable as we can to resist little fingerprint & general day to day life in busy houses, however they are vinatage items & not indestructible therefore we advise the following: to be careful when handling & to always use coasters for drinks clean with mild soap & a damp cloth & not to use any polish be mindful if placing in direct sunlight as this can cause fading be cautious with perfumed diffusers & alcohol as this can dissolve the finish Antique & vintage We hand select the prettiest vintage finds, sourcing them from as far as France & the rest of the UK before shipping them to us for their transformation. We are extremely selective in this process & will only choose to work on pieces that don’t need major repairs & are already in excellent condition to ensure we provide the best pieces! in the case that there is an antique piece too good to pass on, we will always photograph these knocks & bumps as best as possible, but if you have any queries please contact us. The interior of these pieces all get cleaned & either waxed or oiled to make them shine again! I recommend using tumble drier sheets in the drawers/cupboards to keep them smelling fresh for longer.
