Wall mirror with a Breton couple in a traditional dress & a basket of strawberries. The illustration is in a cute & kitsch style, reminiscent of Sarah Kay or the Big Eyes children. The colour theme is mainly red, with some blue & yellow. The boy & girl are dressed in traditional folk Breton clothing, & he is holding a basket of 'fraises de Plougastel', the famous strawberries from the Plougastel area, seen as a real delicacy. Wooden frame, hook at the back for wall fixing. Great overall condition, written at the back in pencil 'ingnus' which means 'the innocent'. The yellow ink on the mirror has faded (you can see it on the hair of the children, the clothes & the flower at the bottom left, whilst the other colours are fine.
