Very elegant silver plated candle stick elaborately decorated with baroque style repousse flowers & scrolls on a round base. Very solid & heavy. This is a reproduction of an antique candle stick dating from around the early 1800's. The base has a cardboard insert which is covered by a blue felt with the maker's silver sticker 'Sheraton SILVERPLATE ITALY'. The base is stamped 'SILVERPLATED' & 'SALES-CIRCA 1779 AUTHENTIC REPRODUCTION'. in good vintage condition with no obvious dings or dents. The cardboard insert has come loose from the base & is a little warped & the felt is a little worn. Measures approximately 10.5ins (26.5cms) in height & 5.5ins (14cms) diameter at the base.
