Large & exceptional mid century cabinet by swedish designer Carl Axel Acking for Bodafors. The only example that we are aware of on the market. This cabinet has an exceptionally elegant form. Curved lines soften the corners, & the three doors display a striking geometric design created with the horizontal & vertical positioning of the veneered panels. The cabinet has its original brass hardware also with softened curved edges to follow the overall form, & the original key remains with the piece allowing both sides of the cabinet to be locked securely. The three doors open to reveal shelving & storage space on the left & right. Additionally there are five drawers in varying sizes within the central section. The cabinet stands on four legs. It is fully restored & is an example of fine craftsmanship & quality. It is labelled Bodefors. Dimensions W: 173cm D: 46cm H: 117cm AVAILABILITY: ONE in STOCK.
