These mountain design bookends are a beautiful way to store your books, & organise your home or office. Use on their own to hold books inside, or in pairs to hold them between as well. They also look great with candles inside, giving some wonderful shadows! Unlike other sellers, our bookends are made from solid steel by hand, then powder coated in a colour of your choice, with over 20 options to choose from. This gives an extremely durable, long lasting finish, better than any normal paint. They also come with 4x non-slip rubber feet to protect your surfaces. Details: Handmade from 1.5mm steel Dimensions: H17 x W14 x D9 cm Powder coated smooth finish, with a wide range of colours available (see options) 4x non-slip rubber feet Handmade in Hampshire, UK Care & Maintenance: Unless ordered in bare metal, all of our products are powder coated in the colour you select. This is a very durable finish, which is better than paint & suitable for indoor & outdoor use. Please note - the gloss lacquer finish (colour 21) is for indoor use only. For garden items, as with anything left outside, a wipe down with a soft cloth & warm soapy water is advisable once a year to keep things looking their best. Our products are for decorative purposes only, & their lifetime outdoors depends on many factors such as placement, local environment & any scratches or chips that may occur during installation. As such, we cannot guarantee that they will be completely corrosion free. Over time, small areas of rust on edges, in corners & behind welds/joins on an item are possible & will not effect the structure of the item. For added protection, a spray on acrylic lacquer or varnish will extend the coating life, & can be used to protect areas if they are damaged during installation or use. If you would like to improve corrosion resistance for more permanent items such as house signs, letters used for outdoor/shop signs & similar, we can add a zinc primer layer to your order underneath the main colour.
